When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical data transmitted by your browser (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type and operating system). This data is used solely to operate the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We store your preferred language and colour scheme (light/dark) exclusively in your browser (localStorage). This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

For reach measurement we use the cookieless service Plausible and — only with your consent — Google Analytics. Details are in the "Reach measurement (Plausible)", "Google Analytics" and "Consent and cookie settings" sections. We do not use cookies for advertising.

Our live chat additionally sets functional first-party cookies and localStorage entries through the provider Crisp; see the "Live chat (Crisp)" section for details.

On this website we use the live chat provided by Crisp IM SAS, 2 boulevard de Launay, 44100 Nantes, France. Crisp is a French (EU) provider; its core service is operated within the EU, so no transfer to a third country takes place in this respect.

The live chat is there for direct contact and support, so you can ask us questions easily.

For the chat session, Crisp sets first-party cookies and localStorage entries (e.g. a "crisp-client" session identifier). If you actively take part in the chat, your messages as well as technical data (session and visitor identifier, browser information) and any contact details you provide (e.g. name, email address) are processed.

The live chat is a strictly necessary, functional support tool and is therefore not controlled by a cookie banner but loaded without separate consent. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a direct support and communication channel under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; if you actively contact us via the chat, additionally Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

To analyse how this website is used, we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly web analytics service provided by Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia (EU).

Plausible works entirely without cookies, sets no persistent identifiers and stores no personal data. Your IP address is not stored; it is only used briefly to derive coarse, anonymous information (e.g. country, browser, operating system). No cross-device or cross-site tracking takes place.

All data is processed and stored exclusively within the EU and does not leave the EU. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly reach measurement under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As no cookies are set, no consent is required for this.

If you have consented, we use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing may also be carried out by Google LLC in the USA.

Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data (e.g. truncated IP address, pages visited, time on page, approximate origin, device and browser data) to analyse the use of the website statistically. In GA4, IP addresses are not stored permanently.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Google Analytics is loaded only after you have agreed in the cookie banner; without consent, no processing by Google Analytics takes place.

For any transfer to the USA, Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Google LLC is certified) and, in addition, on standard contractual clauses. Despite these safeguards, a residual risk remains for transfers to third countries.
